Control Panel - Buttons and LEDs


Buttons

Switch 1

When the control panel is asleep, press SW1 to see the current status of the control panel (Power, Alarm State, Communication)

When the control panel is awake, hold SW1 to change communication method, then let go on the communication method required. See section below for the settings available when altering the communication method.

Switch 2

Hold SW2 for around 3 seconds to wake the control panel up. If the system is not currently connected to the network and/or to Webeye, it will attempt a connection.

LEDs - Normal State

Power LED

Green (Static)
Connected to power supply with battery backup >90%
 Green (Flashing)
Connected to power supply with battery backup <90%
Red (Solid)
Connected to power supply only
Amber (Static)
Battery only - >90%
Amber (Flashing)
Battery only - <90% - >50%
Red (Flashing)
Battery only - <50%

Alarm State LED

LEDs - Changing communication setting

Holding SW1 whilst the control panel is awake, the LEDs will cycle through the below communication methods

LEDs - During video transmission

During the transmission of video, certain LEDs will flash red meaning the below

LED 
Meaning
Power
No change (will remain displaying power state)
Alarm State (Rapid Flash)
Video being transmitted from camera to control panel
WiFi (Flashing)
If there is a CRC (checksum) failure during video transmission
 Ethernet (Flashing)
Packet loss during video transmission
Modem (Flashing)
Video being transmitted from the panel to webeyeCMS

All LEDs will flash green upon successful video transmission.
Once video transmission is complete, LEDs will return back to the normal state.
