Control Panel - Fitting the mounting plate

Positioning and Fitting the plate

The mounting plate should be attached to the panel before fixing it to a structure.

Ensure that the countersunk holes around the edge of the plate are facing away from the control panel. The plate should be located on the bottom half of the panel as indicated in the image below by the arrow.

6 self-tapping countersunk screws are supplied to fix the plate onto the control panel.

If drilling pilot holes beforehand on the rear of the panel, it is advised that a 3mm drill bit is used with a drill stop to a depth of no more than 8mm. Penetration of the panel casing will affect its IP integrity and possibly void warranty.

The red boxes indicate the screw holes to fit the plate to the panel.

The below is an example of the plate positioned correctly on the control panel.

Mounting the control panel

The 2 holes on either side of the plate are used to fix the control panel to a solid surface.

Webeye mounting magnets can also be attached to the plate for fixing to metal structures. These can be supplied on request.
