Arm and Disarm Alarms

Arm and Disarm Alarms

This feature will be introduced with webeyeCMS v2.10. View the release notes here

Alarms in webeyeCMS can be highly important events, such as an intrusion, but they can also be lower-priority informational events such as an arm or disarm.

In some cases you may not want an alarm generating for arm or disarm signals, but still want webeyeCMS to receive and record the event for your records. In this case you can edit the device and disable the events that you don't want including in alarms.

Editing The Device

Navigate to the device that you wish to edit, either via the Manage option from the menu or from Quick Search.

Once on the device editing page look for the two new options; Generate alarms for arm signals and Generate alarms for disarm signals :

Simply check/uncheck the option that you want and save your changes at the bottom of the page. The same functionality is present for generating alarms for periodic-test/heartbeat signals, as you can see in the screenshot above.
