webeyeCONNECT Guides and Docs

Introduction

webeyeCONNECT is an interface that will use webeyeCMS as the alarm receiver for alarm/CCTV systems and send signals to third party alarm platforms.

This provides installers and end users with the full feature set of webeyeCMS whilst the alarm receiving centre (ARC) can carry on monitoring alarms using their native software.

The alarm receiving software we currently support sending alarm signals to are:
  1. Sentinel
  2. Bold Manitou
  3. Bold Stages

Getting started with webeyeCONNECT

Before being able to use webeyeCONNECT, the alarm receiving centre must have an account setup with webeyeCMS. Select the relevant form below:

If you have any queries with this form, please speak to our sales team at sales@webeyecms.com or call us 0115 714 9990 (UK) / 863-336-6527 (USA).

Once the form has been filled in and completed, our team will be in touch to set up the billing (direct debit / auto card payments). As soon as the billing is set up our Support team will be in touch with login credentials.

Setup the receiver

This section will cover setting up the receiver on the ARC side and go through the information required by webeyeCMS to be able to transmit signals.

Sentinel

Monitor have created a line handler within Sentinel for receiving alarms from webeyeCMS. If you require support getting this added, speak to Monitor systems.

Once the line handler has been added to your Sentinel installation, we will require the URL for transmitting the signals. This will be made of the IP or URI, port number and followed by the identifier used on the line handler. See examples below:
  1. http://demo.monitor.equipment:9035/WebeyeCMS
  2. http://111.222.111.222:9035/WebeyeCMS
Send the above information to the Webeye Support team at support@webeyecms.com. As long as you have an account setup with webeyeCMS already, then this will be done and confirmation will be sent back.

If you need any support with the above, speak with the support team using the above email or call us on 0115 714 9990 / 863-336-6527 (Option 2 for support).

Bold Manitou

Start by setting up a new receiver through Manitou. See below picture as an example setup.

Bold Manitou setup screen
Once this has been set-up, you will be required to map the events that webeyeCMS sends through to Manitou. See the attached document for creating these event mappings.

When finished, send the IP/DNS for the receiver along with the port (that is externally accessible) to the Webeye Support team at support@webeyecms.com. As long as you have an account setup with webeyeCMS already, then this will be done and confirmation will be sent back.

If you need any support with the above, speak with the support team using the above email or call us on 0115 714 9990 / 863-336-6527 (Option 2 for support).

Bold Stages

Start by setting up a new receiver through Stages. See below pictures as an example setup with mapping.

Once this has been set-up, you will be required to map the events that webeyeCMS sends through to Stages.
