Installation Tips

1.      Avoid direct sunlight.

2.      Avoid aiming directly at air conditioning or heating vents.

3.      Avoid vapour or high humidity that may cause condensation.

4.      Do not smoke during installation.

5.      Do not install outdoors.

6.      Install between 1.8m - 2.4m from the floor.

* Forced activation means try to activate system while input (SENS, ALM) is open (DIP4 ON).
** First 20 sec siren tone will occur, after 20 seconds siren stops, red LED will blink for additional 20sec.

Installation Procedure

1.      Unscrew fastening screw and remove the cover.

2.      Power webeyeFOG unit by connecting 3.6V battery included

3.      Pull out the jumper on JP1.

4.      Set DIP switches 3 and 4 to the UP position.

5.      Insert jumper socket on JP1 to confirm and activate settings.

6.      Wire relay input into IMM and – (Ensure relay stays in NC even when downpowered).

7.      Power relay and test after 1 minute.

8.      After successful test downpower both relay and webeyeFOG.

9.      Wire in canister into SMOKE terminal and remove the plastic sticker on the bottom of the cartridge.

10.  Reconnect power to relay.

11.  Reconnect power to webeyeFOG unit.

12.  Attach the cover and screw into place within 4 minutes. During these 4 minutes, the red LED will flash. After 4 minutes, the red LED will stop flashing and the system is enabled.

Generalities

·         Keep the product away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations, water, excessive moistures, flammable gases, vapour’s or solvents.

·         Do not expose the product to mechanical stress.

·         If it is no longer possible to use in complete safety, disconnect it from mains power immediately. The safety of use is no longer guaranteed if the product:

-          Presents visible damage.

-          It does not function correctly.

-          Stored for prolonged periods under unfavourable environments.

·         Do not store objects within 1 meter of the smoke outlet.

·         The capsule and metal container are very hot after each delivery. Be careful not to touch parts. until they have cooled.

·         Do not stand for long in smoke-filled rooms.

·         Ventilate the rooms until the smoke disappears before entering.

·         Do not smoke during installation and handling of the product.

·         The use of the product is expressly forbidden to minors under 18 years.

Electrical safety

·         In order to ensure perfect system operation, we recommend using original batteries.

Maintenance & Cleaning

·         Do not use strong detergent, alcohol and chemical solvent, to avoid surface damage and device functionalities.

·         Use a dry rag for cleaning.

Disposal

·         It is forbidden to dispose in domestic waste.

·         The product must be disposed in compliance with the codes and law in force.
