Exporting Videos From Webeye

Exporting Videos From Webeye

There are currently 3 ways in which a user can export videos from the webeye platform. All administrator users will have the ability to perform the outlined methods. The specific permissions required are outlined individually per method.

1.      Clicking the save icon next to the video in the alarm viewer.

Upon viewing an alarm, a video can be exported by selecting the save icon next to the associated signal.

The video will be saved within the browsers default download path.

Required user permissions:

  • Receive/view alarms
  • Handle alarms

2.      Using the chrome video player download link (and other browsers if they also support it)

Upon viewing a video within an alarm, it can be exported by selecting the download icon of the video player.

The download will be shown at the bottom of the bowser window and if selected will playback the video. The video will also be saved within the browsers default download path.

Required user permissions:

  • None

3.      Downloading from the device videos report.

Upon reporting on a specific device, any available videos outlined within the reporting period can be exported. This can be done by selecting the ‘Download’ icon associated with a specific signal.

The download will be shown at the bottom of the browser window and if selected will playback the video. The video will also be saved within the browsers default download path.

Required user permissions:
